Workshops

I believe that every child is an individual and hence should have the opportunity to develop into their own person. Our schooling system tends to put us all in a box where we are taught as a herd. So much great talent is lost along the way. My workshops help in making children hone their intrinsic skill sets or interest. It is aimed at making children be themselves without worrying about who is watching them. A place where there is no judgement.

At the Pappu store, I got a chance to interact with a lot of children. Having two of my own also took me into the world of the little people. I have done a lot of research for various projects to understand how children’s minds work. Theirs is a world filled with wonderment! As parents we are constantly trying to decide what they should do. Should they learn painting, music, dance, sports and so on. I find parents running around taking their kids from one co-curricular or sports activity to another, just incase their child shows any interest in them. While exposure is good, its also important to understand a child’s intrinsic abilities and talent and hone it.

At Pappu, we conduct workshops to help children find their potential. It could be writing, music, art, craft, theatre, cooking and then some. We have conducted a few of these and its been great fun. Most children are between the age groups on 3-6.
