Apparel or garments is a beautiful extension of our personas. What we wear says so much about who we are. Since I didn’t train as an apparel designer, I was always nervous about getting into women’s wear. However, I got clothes made for myself from the fabrics that I bought during my travels to the villages of India.

In 2008, I decided to start a store for children’s clothes called Pappu, the little Indian and in 2011, I launched my first collection of sarees under the brand name Song.

Both these brands will now be available online
